So if you follow me on Twitter then you’ll already know how excited I was a couple of days ago when I received my Dandies vegan marshmallows from VeganEssentials! Everything I can tell you about them won’t really do them justice – you just gotta try them for yourself.

They are made by Chicago Soy Dairy, who also make the fantastic Teese. We vegans now have nothing to be envious about on the marshmallow front – these little pillows taste better than anything I’ve ever had – straight outta the bag, in a S’more, and my favorite, Rice Krispies Treats! I followed the recipe from the Kellogg’s website and subbed with Earth Balance.

Dandies are still a bit hard to procure but I highly recommend you keep your eyes out for these, not only because they are delicious but also because we need to support vegan companies like Chicago Soy Dairy. Their products rival any non-vegan versions and supporting them will secure that they will be around for a long time!

Oh my my, they’re SO good! I’m working my way through a bag right now & it’s tough not to just sit & toast + eat them all!

WOW!! Your Rice Krispies look absolutely amazing! Dandies are so delicious, I can’t get past eating them straight out of the bag. Truly vegan heaven! I toasted some the other night for s’mores….yum, yum, yum. Now on to Krispies, complete with chocolate drizzle. Thanks for sharing. =)
I just got a bag of these a few days ago and they are AMAZING!! They roast in the fire and poof up in the microwave just like gelatinous marshmallows! So excited.
